Bush Kinder

Within our Bush Kinder program all children are offered the opportunity to connect and engage in nature, the community and land on which we live.

Our bush kinder program is a perfect opportunity to allow the children to support their own development and learning through natural resources found in the local area, developing an awareness of the world around them as well as how to care for it.

Bush Kinder offers many benefits and opportunities for all children. It is a part of our vision that all children are given the opportunity to engage, enjoy and participate in this natural, organic and sustainable program.

Art Program

At All Day Long we have created a dedicated art program to support children in developing their creative skills through a process over outcome approach.

Our art room allows children to explore art and craft using a range of materials, with a strong focus on sustainability and how we can use materials for a variety of different purposes, not only the intended. Our art program explores how nature and everyday materials can be used in a way to create new things through expressive art and craft experiences and play.

AUSLAN Classes

Across our rooms, we have Sign & Shine AUSLAN incursions attend the service weekly, to teach the children an inclusive language while allowing them to gain the skills to communicate both non-verbally and verbally. This is something that all educators in the room participate in with the children to gain the skills to continue using AUSLAN as a second language within their program, continuously supporting the children's language development through an inclusive program.

Lending Library

Our Lending Library supports all children’s emerging and developing literacy skills.

Through this initiative children will develop rich literacy skills and a love for books and reading, while also learning important social concepts of taking care of items and returning something that is borrowed. Families will also have the precious gift of time together with their children, through reading stories together.

TLC Warralily Gardens Aged Care Partnership

We at All Day Long provide an educational program that provides regular ongoing excursions to promote opportunities for the children to build connections with their local community. These connections foster strong relationships with the residents of TLC Warralily Gardens Residential Aged Care and provide a holistic environment for the children to engage with. This links to the service philosophy, which is inspired by multiple theorists and directly links to Lev Vygotsky’s sociocultural theory emphasising social interactions.

Service Pets

We believe that having pets is more than just fun filled interactions, that pets provide opportunities for learning, supporting development whist bringing joy to each child.

The benefits of having pets within All Day Long can be seen through observations, interactions and learning how to care for an animal, which are all held as a valuable part of a child’s education and care experiences. Animals in our environment support children in building empathy, improving communication and reducing anxiety.
