Bu
Bu is a dedicated environment for our youngest members of the All Day Long family, catering for children 6 weeks to 1 year of age. Our Bu room is set up to meet the developmental needs of this vastly developing age range, with many age appropriate resources at an accessible level for our babies.
Within the Bu room, our young children receive the best of care with consistent staff members, building strong relationships, learning the children's routines and meeting all of the children's individual care and developmental needs.
Perridak
Perridak caters for children from 1 to 2 years. Perridak offers activities to encourage play-based learning which follows and supports both their interest and learning. We see children as capable and confident learners from the moment they start with us and this is seen through the offering of programs which are featured throughout All Day Long.
It is this approach which also supports us to embed children’s rights, taking time to teach children about their right to be heard, make decisions which affect them or the unique approach we embed to sharing.
Walert
Walert has been set up as a stepping stone environment between the Perridak and Go-Yin rooms, hosting children aged between 18 months to 2.5 years. Walert uses curriculum-based activities that are designed at an age appropriate level for the children within the room.
Walert has a strong focus on the children’s interests allowing them to guide their learning and create play-based learning experiences which allows them to be fully involved in their learning journey.
Go-Yin
Go-Yin is our toddler environment that works to support children between the ages of 2-3 years to engage within learning experiences and support with preparation of the children heading into kindergarten in their following year.
Within Go-Yin you will see our environment set up with curriculum-based activities, that focus on the children’s interests allowing them to guide their own learning. Within the space, children are able to explore and engage with the wonders which they see in the world. The care offered is both holistic and nurturing, whilst supporting the foundation of growing a love of learning for life.
Ngurr-Ngurr
Ngurr-Ngurr is a 3-4 year old room which hosts our three year old funded kindergarten program. Ngurr-Ngurr embeds a range of cross-curriculum projects which allow children to guide and discover the wonders of the world in which they are growing up in, whilst taking time to scaffold and extend this thinking further.
Ngurr-Ngurr believes in a consistent approach to the children’s learning where the learning spaces are developed for the children, and set up for the full year to allow ongoing opportunities for their growth and participation.
Mon.Garrk
Mon.Garrk is a 3-5 year old room offering long day care services for up to 11 children at a time. This room works on supporting children’s learning through a play-based environment. The children within this learning environment focus on building their social development and cognition through their play and engagement with one another.
Yurn
Yurn is our 4 year old kindergarten room. In Yurn, the team take time supporting children to develop school readiness skills and work with what this looks like for each individual child. Yurn promotes independence, resilience and connectedness to support children in becoming both informed, knowledgeable and empowered citizens of the future.
With School preparation a focus, children are encouraged to start extending and deepening their understanding of both their rights and the reciprocal rights of others. It is through the embedment of these rights that children start to develop an insight to both who they are and where they would like to take their own learning.
Birnbial
All Day Long creates environments that allow our children to freely express themselves through creative art experiences. With this in mind, we have created a dedicated art space where the children flow in and out progressively throughout the day to engage in creative art experiences with our art teacher, Georgia.
Our art room allows children to explore art and craft using a range of materials, with a strong focus on sustainability and how we can use materials for a variety of different purposes, not only the intended. Our art program explores how nature and everyday materials can be used in a way to create new things through expressive art and craft experiences and play.
Globata
Globata is our sensory room that offers a quiet and calming space for children with activities that aim to calm the senses, re-regulate emotions and provide a sense of security to children of all ages when they are experiencing big feelings.
